Billy D. Snyder

William (Billy) Snyder, born September 2, 1954, passed away April 17, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.   

Graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M.  Monday April 22^nd, 2024 at Sunrise cemetery in Englewood with Reverend Doug Snyder officiating.

Billy loved his family above all else.  He loved golfing with his son, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  He retired after 30 years from J.M. Huber Company as a maintenance tech.  He also worked at Mountain View school for 10 years.  Billy was also a Deacon and member of First Christian Church of Etowah.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Betty Snyder; brothers, Ivan, Jimmy and Mike Snyder.

Survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Teresa Derrick Snyder; children, son, Jamie Glen Snyder (Jamey), daughter, Kimberly Dawn Snyder Culberson;  two brothers, Charles and Bobby Snyder; grandchildren, Jade Snyder, Chance Culberson, Bud Satherlie.
