Stella McGrew

Stella Mary McGrew 98 of Athens Tn., passed away surrounded by her loving family.  

Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward McGrew; sons, Johnny McGrew, Jerry McGrew; grandson, Jeffrey Scott Hicks; parents, William and Martha Green; one brother, Robert Green; three sisters, Ruth Frank, Audry Green, Bertha Frank and son in law, Don Hood.

Survivors include her loving daughter and care giver, Sharon Hood of Athens; daughter in law, Becky McGrew of Sweetwater; Jeanette McGrew of Englewood and special brother-in-law, Hobert McGrew of Orlando, Fl.; granddaughters, Beth (Keith) Ellis of North Pole, Ak., Lisa (Warren) Dickinson of Murfreesboro, Tn.; Rebecca (Ryan) Wilson of Athens, Tn.; great grandchildren, Ashley (Adrian) Zaldana of Los Angeles, Ca.; Weston (Marlo) Shaver of Murfreesboro, Tn.; Jessica Shaver of Pensacola, Fl., Kelli (Devin) Rogers and Bethany Gann of Athens, Tn.; Four great grandsons.

She lived her entire life in McMinn and Bradley Counties.  She loved her family dearly.  Stella was an avid gardner and cook.  

Service will be held at a later date.
