Robert "Scott" Herbert

Robert “Scott” Herbert, 47, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020. He loved building and construction work. Scott was an avid outdoors person, including fishing, riding 4-wheelers, camping. He also enjoyed Sci-fi movies, as well as being a Big Orange fan. He was a Christian and spent time reading his Bible and loved his family, especially his boys; Austin and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Edward “Bob” Herbert; brother, Kelly Lee Herbert and grandparents, Dorothy and Lloyd Johnson.

Scott is survived by his mother, Sherry Mann of Knoxville; sons Austin and Tyler Herbert of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Alana and Keith Fields of Chattanooga; brother, Christopher Simmons of Knoxville; nephew and niece, Gavin and Abby Fields of Chattanooga; 4 cousins, 2 aunts and 6 cousins. Also, special friends, Amy Godsey and her children of Knoxville.

Family and friends will be gathering in Roseberry Cemetery in Mascot, TN for a graveside service on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Don Akins will be officiating.
