Jimmy Douglas Robinson

Jimmy Douglas Robinson, a long time resident of Dublin, GA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23rd. Jimmy was born July 4, 1939 and was a beloved husband and father. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sadie Lou Page Robinson, Father, Jimmy Douglas Robinson, SR and sister, Bobbie Jean Jones (Carlos), and two grandsons, Christopher Berry and Douglas Dean. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Brantley Robinson; daughters Rhonda Henson (Don – deceased), Kim Shell (Steve – deceased), Renee Braunschweig (Mark), Sheila Conder (James) and their mother, Elaine Bush Smith. Bonus daughters are Cheryl Hobbs (Dwayne), Carol Burke (Jamie), Christyl Kersey (Curt), Retta Resnick (Quinn) and Jackie Brown (Randall). Jim was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, 27 great grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was a long time employee of Arnau Auto Parts, Claxton Lawrence Ford and Pitts Pontiac. He retired from Hometown Supply. Mr. Robinson was a member of the First Christian Church.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 6th at 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church on Mimosa Dr. in Dublin, GA. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow in the church social hall.
