Harry Edward Morgan

Harry Edward Morgan, age 96, of Etowah, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at a hospital in Chattanooga. Harry was born in Etowah and was the owner/operator of Morgan Insurance Agency and a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Etowah. He was a veteran of World War II. He enjoyed building and flying radio-controlled aircraft and was instrumental in the McMinn County Radio Control Association. He formed many friendships through his involvement in this organization. Harry was a very happy and friendly person who loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma; son, Michael “Bucky” Morgan.

Harry is survived by his sister, Robbye Davis; daughter, Bonny (Paul) Morgan-Crosby; sister-in-law, Nancy McCampbell; grandchildren, Jake Hadacek, Betsy (Jake) Eaves, Michael (Rebecca) Morgan, Michelle (Adam) Cripps and Carmen Morgan; as well as, eight great-grandchildren.

Harry will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at Green Hill Cemetery on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for family and friends with Paul Crosby officiating.
