Emma Mae Odom
July 4, 1920 — January 18, 2023
Emma Odom, age 102, of Etowah, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023. She was the oldest living member of the North Etowah Baptist Church. Emma loved gardening and flowers, her favorite being roses.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Odom; daughters, Frances Williams and Louise Perkins; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Virginia (Doug) Garmany; son, Dewey Odom (Mary Lynne Thompson); 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Bill Griffith officiating.
