Charles "James" Akins

Charles “Charlie/James” Akins, age 66, of Lenoir City, passed away peacefully at his sister’s home in Maryville, Tennessee, after a courageous fight with Cancer. He will be greatly missed.

James is preceded in death by his father and mother, Elmer & Ruby Akins of Lenior City; his wife Denise Akins of Lenior City.

He is survived by his daughters, Janie (Steve) Smith; Shirley Akins, both of North Carolina; Kelly Harris and Stevie (Angel) Colon of Lenior City; sister, Shirley (Jeffrey) Webber of Maryville; niece, Trish Myers of Maryville; seven beautiful grandbabies, and 1 great-grandbaby on the way.
