Benny Lynn Goines, age 74, of Sweetwater, TN, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at home with family by his side. Benny was born May 19, 1947 in Sweetwater, TN to the late Bart and Fannie Goines.
Benny was preceded in death by brothers, Robert (Sonny) Goines and Danny Goines; sisters, Elizabeth Crane and Barchie Johnson.
He is survived by wife of 55 years, Beverly Goines; daughter Sherrie (Horace) Webb of Madisonville; daughter, Sheila (Joey) Brown of Lenoir; son, Jody (Tammy) Goines of Madisonville; siblings, Johnny Goines, Eddie Goines, Geneva Thurmond, Nina Lonas and Patsy Fields; grandchildren, Dustin, Stephanie, Ashley, Jamie, Megan, Melaynie and Caleb; great grandchildren, Mileena, Harper, Jaytyn, Kai, Parker and Scarlett.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
