Anita Carol Getz

Anita Carol Getz, 70, passed on to her heavenly home on August 13th, 2025. Anita was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking and reading, but most important to her was spending time with her family.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jacob Getz, her parents John and Madoline Schaab, and two sisters Rose Bender and Patricia Lou Schaab.

Left to cherish her memory, her sister and brother-in-law Madoline and Rich Sawyer. Her children and their spouses, Patricia and Aaron Faddis, Jake and Amy Getz, Troy and Christa Getz, John and Priscilla Getz and Travis Getz. Anita also leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held for Anita on August 31st, 2025 at the Cora Veal Center in Madisonville, TN from 11AM-5PM.
