Alma Faye Sitzlar

“Faye” Sitzlar, age 92 of Delano, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. She enjoyed being a Pink Lady at Woods Memorial now Starr Regional having served as a volunteer with over 14,500 hours. Faye was a member of Brookhill Baptist Church for 56 years. She spent many days at the Etowah Senior Center when she was a volunteer at the hospital.

Preceded in death by parents: Russell and Fannie Watson; husband, Paul Sitzlar; brothers, Kenneth and RV Watson.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Shirley Sitzlar of Etowah; daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Charlie England of Delano; grandchildren, Shane, Brooke and Travis; 6 great grandchildren and many friends.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will include: Travis England, Briar England, Shane Sitzlar, Stephen Bryan, Ethan Bryan and Russell Rayburn; alternates include: Garrett Mills, Austin Stewart and Braden Stewart.
